White paper: "Best-before dates: an outdated idea?
France Nature Environnement supports the white paper published by Too Good To Go - an application dedicated to the fight against food waste - to mark the third anniversary of the Garot law against food waste. This series of recommendations aims to reduce waste linked to expiration dates.
PBT index and drug residues
The PBT index measures the environmental hazardousness of these drug residues. The Simone Veil Hospital in Cannes (06) began work on this index at the end of 2014.
Rainwater for the outdoor environment
The Jean André Laupetre residence installed a 300-liter rainwater collector in spring 2018. This is connected to the downspout in the residence's patio. The water collected is used from spring to autumn to water the flowers and green plants, as well as the tabletop mini vegetable garden.
Electrolytic washing
Electrolysis is based on a device that breaks down water into oxygen and hydrogen gas under the action of an electric current. This solution offers an equivalent quality of cleanliness and reduces the exposure of cleaning staff, employees and the public to highly concentrated chemicals.
Water theme: two awareness-raising stickers available
To motivate staff to protect water resources, C2DS has created two awareness-raising stickers to affix to taps: "J'éconeaumise" ("I save") and "Prendre soin de chaque goutte" ("Taking care of every drop").

Beekeepers' association sends free seeds to save solitary bees

ARS PACA - Support on the right track!
At the end of 2016, ARS PACA entrusted C2DS with a mission to deploy a sustainable development approach among the region's health and medico-social establishments. A five-stage inventory - via an online questionnaire - was carried out in 2018.
