Hospital drugs: how much and why are they thrown away?

The C2DS Pharma Club is a community of 201 hospital pharmacists. Last April, they decided to take action to reduce drug waste in hospitals. The C2DS launched a collective action to assess and reduce DIMED (waste from medicines).

Creation of an ecoscore for more responsible medical devices

C2DS and Snitem (Syndicat national de l'industrie des technologies médicales) have announced the launch of an "ecoscore" for more responsible purchasing of medical devices. The aim is to develop a simple, effective tool for buyers, based on purchasing indicators and scoring for decarbonation, environmental health and quality of life at work.

Towards the end of pink boxes in maternity wards?

So-called pink boxes filled with samples of cosmetics and hygiene products are made available free of charge to maternity wards by brands for distribution to mothers by nursing staff. The C2DS criticized the principle behind this practice, and in particular the large number of endocrine disruptors present.

Authorizing reprocessing in France: the C2DS is back at it again!

Ordinance n°2022-582 of April 20, 2022 prohibited the reprocessing of medical devices, even though it preserves all their initial qualities. C2DS has called on 45 members of parliament to authorize reprocessing in France, so as to enable the advent of a healthcare system that is more respectful of the environment, and therefore more respectful of human health.
