Summary
The decree of July 20, 2023 stipulates that the referent for physical activity and sport is appointed by the management of social and medico-social establishments, from among its professionals. The referent has two missions: on the one hand, he or she is responsible for informing the people supported by the establishment about the physical activity and sports offer, as well as the people and bodies responsible for ensuring that the rights of the people supported are properly exercised; on the other hand, the referent can propose a personalized physical activity and sports support plan for the people supported. Lastly, the decree stipulates that the establishment's management must organize ongoing training to develop the skills of the referent.
