10,000 biological samples processed every day! With an activity focused on analysis (the catalog references 2,500), the biology center brings together almost all the CHU's laboratories on an 18,000 m2 site, employing 1,000 medical and non-medical staff.
The waste challenge at Clermont-Ferrand University Hospital
The four establishments of the Clermont-Ferrand University Hospital generate over 2,000 tonnes of waste per year, a figure that is still rising (1,881 tonnes in 2019). With the ten establishments that make up the regional GHT, a total volume of 4,500 tonnes needs to be treated and financed.

ASEI's mission is to support, educate and integrate people with disabilities and those who are dependent or vulnerable. The association manages 107 health and medico-social establishments and services. In Salvetat, one of them was due to have its boiler replaced.

22 healthcare professionals from this new class are back in school! 90% of former students say they are very satisfied with their training. This community of over a hundred graduates is now managing CSR in healthcare establishments.

The 289 participants cycled 48,232 km during the "Mai à vélo" operation.
The Bloc bag
Dr. Gabin Momal, an ophthalmologist at Lille University Hospital, recycles scrubs and transforms them into Bloc bags, attractive bags for distribution at conventions. A 100% virtuous project in environmental, social and economic terms, which the C2DS supports!
Heating with wood: all the benefits
In La Salvetat (34), the facility opted for a biomass boiler. Subsidies received reduced the initial cost from €175,000 to €50,000.
