Summary
A report by the CGDD in September 2023 points to improvements to be considered to achieve greater effectiveness of the provisions of the AGEC law, and more specifically of its article 58 dealing with the theme of reuse, recycling and the circular economy. All players subject to the public procurement code could be concerned, as proposal no. 1 suggests "Conducting a study into the possibility of extending article 58 of the AGEC law to all purchasers subject to the public procurement code, before considering a modification to the legislative framework." The CGDD makes a total of 14 proposals.
